Is this Athens treasure hunt played on an app?
Yes. You play it on your phone. The app leads you from stop to stop around Syntagma and Ermou, tells you the story of each place and sets a riddle based on what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join.
Where does the Christmas walk start and how long does it take?
It starts and finishes at the Hellenic Parliament on Syntagma. The route is about 2 km and takes a little over two hours, with stops that include the archaeological finds inside Syntagma metro station, the Old Parliament and the City Link Arcade.
Is it better to do the walk during the day or at night?
Nighttime is better if you want to see the holiday lights, and the main square is at its most festive after dark. The walk is mostly outdoors through city streets, so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the December weather.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
