You arrive in Sinaia by train, ready to explore the town, when something unexpected catches your attention: an old, weathered notebook.
Its pages take you back to 1913. As you begin to read, you learn that the writer is a mysterious guest of the Romanian Royal Court, newly arrived in Sinaia with an invitation tucked safely inside their coat. That evening, they are expected at Peleș Castle.
But their journey does not take them straight there.
Instead, the notebook follows a trail through royal Sinaia - past places of faith and leisure, through the hidden workings of the Royal Domain, and into the world of King Carol I, Queen Elisabeth, Crown Prince Ferdinand and Princess Marie.
Now, more than a century later, you can retrace that journey.
Follow the notebook from one location to the next, look carefully around you, and solve each challenge to unlock another piece of the story.
