Does the route visit the Centre of the Universe in Fremont?
Yes. The Centre of the Universe is the second stop, right after Waiting for the Interurban. From there the route continues to the Statue of Lenin, the Fremont Rocket and up to the Troll, finishing back at Fremont Crossing beside the blue drawbridge.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
You start and finish at Fremont Crossing, by the blue drawbridge, so the walk is a loop. The route covers about 1.4 km with ten stops. Allow around 1.5 to 2 hours with the puzzles, and expect a stretch of uphill walking on the way to the Troll.
Is it good for kids?
The puzzles are rated easy and are about spotting details in sculptures and art, so school-age children who like looking closely usually do well, especially with an adult helping. Teens can play along fully. Keep in mind the uphill section if you have little legs or a pushchair in the group.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
No time slot is needed. Start whenever suits you, play as a group, and one ticket covers your whole group. You can pause at any point, stop for a coffee in Fremont, and pick up the walk later from where you left off.
