À propos de cette aventure
Part rom com, part literary classic updated, Madcap Manhattan is a game based on the now 100 year old book that's on every high school English reading list: The Great Gatsby.
F. Scott Fitzgerald and his fictional character, Jay Gatsby, were both in love with the glamour of Manhattan: grand hotels, taxi cabs, and the clink of ice in a well made cocktail.
Roam through midtown with Nick, Daisy, and Gatsby and feel the giddiness of urban life and the hilarious tension of romantic confusion.

Quelques réponses avant de partir
Questions fréquemment posées
Where does the Great Gatsby walk start and finish?
It starts at The Yale Club of New York and finishes at Rockefeller Plaza, so it is not a loop. Along the way you pass Vanderbilt Avenue, the Pershing Square Arch, Fifth Avenue, West 44th Street, the Charles Scribner's & Sons Building and the Channel Gardens.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take about two hours, including walking, the story at each stop and the puzzles. The route covers around 2.5 km through midtown Manhattan, from the Yale Club to Rockefeller Plaza.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the same route, so friends or a couple can follow Nick, Daisy and Gatsby through midtown side by side and solve the puzzles together.
Do we need to book a time slot or buy attraction tickets?
No. You start whenever you like, with no group to join and no guide to meet. No attraction tickets are needed for any stop, and you can pause the game and continue later if you want a break.
Is it an outdoor walk, and is anything on the route affected by works?
The route runs along midtown streets and corners, from Vanderbilt Avenue to Rockefeller Plaza, so plan for being outside and dress for the weather. Some checkpoints may have temporary construction work, so expect occasional changes around the street corners.
