La mission : Votre histoire à Bucharest

You have always been drawn to mysteries.

In the courtyard of Manuc's Inn, a solitary elderly man sits apart from the other guests, still as a portrait.

He is foreign, and something in his manner suggests he has traveled a great distance, though not only in miles.

His name is Antoine Robert Siegel, a German descended from the Saxon communities of Transylvania.

He is searching for his ancestor, a man who once ruled these lands, and who, Siegel believes, is still alive.

He presses a worn journal into your hands. His family has kept it for generations, he says. Read it carefully.

At first glance, the name in the opening entry stops you cold: Vlad the Impaler, Prince of Wallachia.

Count Dracula. The old man watches your expression, then looks away toward the darkening street.

"I am too old to follow him. Perhaps you are not."
