Inside the church's shadowed recesses, cryptic clues guide your path, unraveling the puzzle piece by piece. Wind through passages echoing with forgotten prayers, reaching the cemetery where enigmatic gravestones stand sentinel.

The game is playable between 10:00-16:00 on weekdays and 12:00-16:00 on weekends. This might be subject to change due to weddings, funerals, etc. taking place at the church.


Keep in mind that the game is played at a place of religious worship, please be quiet and respectful.

Where does the Greek Church quest in Brasov start and finish?
It starts at the icons at the entrance of the Greek Church near Council Square and finishes at the ancient cross in the cemetery. Along the way it passes the throne, the hall with candles, the Pieta, the oldest tombstones and three sets of crypts, all on a short 0.5 km loop.
How long does it take?
Most players take about an hour, including the puzzles and the short walk between stops. The whole route covers only around 0.5 km, moving from inside the church out to the old cemetery and its crypts, so it fits easily into a morning or afternoon in the old town.
When can we play it?
The game is playable between 10:00 and 16:00 on weekdays and between 12:00 and 16:00 on weekends. These hours can change when weddings, funerals or other events take place at the church, so plan for some flexibility on the day you go.
Is it free, and can we play as a group?
Yes, it is free to play. Friends, couples or a small group can follow the clues together on a phone, working through the church and cemetery puzzles side by side. There is no group to join and no guide, so you set your own pace.
