You will start in the old town, your gateway to adventure. From here, seek a nearby historical square named after a family whose legacy shaped the town’s civic life. 

In this square, find the building with a tall bell tower that shares its name with an old church celebrated in the area. Next, look for a few viewpoints perfect for photo points. From the viewpoints, you will gaze toward the sea to spot the marina and promenade.

What is the route of the Vrsar walk?
You walk 2 km through 13 stops: Church of St. Fosca, the city gate, the 13th-century castle, the Angel and Bepo & Tonina viewpoints, Degrassi Square and the town hall, the Casanova viewpoint, the WWII memorial, the Casanova statue, a park on Rade Končara street, the marina entrance, the multimedia centre and the tourist board office.
Where does it start and finish?
The walk starts at the Church of St. Fosca in the old town and finishes at the official Vrsar tourist board office near the marina. It does not return to the starting point, so plan your onward route from the finish.
How long does it take?
Most players take about 50 minutes to an hour, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route is 2 km long, and you can stop at the viewpoints for photos as long as you like, since you set your own pace.
Is it good for kids, and does it cost anything?
Yes, it is tagged family friendly, and the puzzles range from easy to medium, so children who enjoy spotting details and solving clues will join in well. It is free to play, so the whole family can take part on their own phones or share one.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
No booking is needed. The route is open around the clock, though daylight is best for the views. You can pause and continue later. Bring a charged phone or power bank, plus a hat, sunscreen and water, as the walk is outdoors.
