Which haunted places in Tórshavn does the walk visit?
The route links places tied to the town's darker stories, including the Tinganes district, the Old Town at Undir Ryggi, the Old Cemetery of Reyni, the Old Cemetery, the Fort and Tórshavn Cathedral. At each stop you hear its story and solve a riddle or code based on what is in front of you.
Where does the ghost walk start and finish?
It starts at the Prefect's Castle (Amtmansborgin) and loops back to the same spot, so you end where you began. Along the way you pass stops such as the Man with Creel and Milkmaid Monument, Westward Ho and the Nólsoyar Páll Monument.
How long does it take and how far is it?
Plan on around 90 minutes to cover about 3 km and 11 stops, though your pace and time spent on the puzzles will change that. You can pause the game at any point and pick it up again later, which helps if your time ashore is tight.
Do we need to book a time slot or buy attraction tickets?
No. You start whenever suits you, with no fixed tour time and no guide to meet. No attraction tickets are needed for any of the stops. Note that some checkpoints may have temporary construction work nearby.
