How long is this walk around Southampton?
The route covers about 2.3 km through the old town and waterfront. Most players take 1.5 to 2 hours, including walking, the stories at each stop and the puzzles. It runs from the Harbour Hotel past Canute Chambers, Holyrood Church and Cuckoo Lane to a viewpoint over Southampton Water.
Is it romantic enough for a date?
Yes, it is written as a love story. You follow two characters drawn together by chance, and each stop shares stories of love, longing and connection from the city's past. It suits couples, close friends or anyone who enjoys a romantic angle on Southampton's Titanic sites.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Southampton Harbour Hotel & Spa and finishes at Southampton Water View Point. It is not a loop, so you end at the waterside viewpoint rather than back where you began. Stops along the way include South Western House, the Sailors' Home and St Michael's Square.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the same quest, so a couple or a few friends can follow the route, read the stories and solve the puzzles as a team.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
There is no time slot to book and no group or guide to meet. You start whenever you like from your phone, and you can pause, for a drink at The Grand Cafe or The Grapes for example, then continue later.
