Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts and ends at Piazza Vittorio Emmanuele II, so you finish where you began. In between, the route takes in the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Piazza dei Cavalieri, Piazza delle Vettovaglie, Piazza Dante Alighieri, Santa Maria della Spina, Piazza XX Settembre, San Martino and Santa Maria del Carmine.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan on about 50 minutes and roughly 4 km on foot. You play on your phone at your own pace, and you can pause at any point, for a coffee in one of the squares for example, then continue later from where you stopped.
Is it suitable for children?
It is written for couples, with a romantic and dramatic plot about a twin sister cursed by a witch and puzzles solved in the streets around you. It is not designed as a family quest, so families with young children may prefer a different walk.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play together?
No time slot is needed. You start whenever you like, with no guide and no group to join. One ticket covers your whole group, so a couple can follow the story and solve the puzzles together.
Is it an outdoor walk, and when is the best time to go?
The quest leads you outdoors through Pisa's squares and past its churches along the river, so dress for the weather. It is tagged as best during the day, when the clues in front of you are easiest to see.
