Is San Ángel a real place?
Yes. San Ángel is a real neighbourhood of Mexico City, and this quest walks its actual streets, from the Convent of El Carmen past mansions such as the Zacatito Mansion and the White House. The stories along the way are true accounts from Mexico's colonial and pre-revolutionary times.
Where does the San Ángel walking tour start and finish?
It starts at the Convent of El Carmen and finishes at the Place of San Jacinto, on a 3.3 km loop with 11 stops. Along the way you pass the Garden of El Carmen, the House of the Sea Monsters, the Iron Cross, The House That Sounds and the Place of the Archangels.
How long does it take?
Most players take a little over two hours, around 125 minutes, including walking and puzzles. There is no guide setting the pace, so you can pause at any point, stop for a coffee or a look around, and continue the quest later.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together. There is no group to join and no guide, so friends, couples or families can start whenever they are ready and move through the stops at their own pace.
Do we need to book a time, and when is it best to go?
No time slot is needed; you start whenever you like. To avoid large crowds, the quest suggests playing on weekdays during working hours. Saturdays bring the bazaar at Plaza San Jacinto, which is lively but makes the final stretch busier.
