Preguntas frecuentes
Is there an escape room near me in Merced?
This is an outdoor escape-room-style game played on your phone in Merced. It starts at Bob Hart Park, covers about 2 km and finishes back at the park, with puzzles set in the places along the way, including Our Lady of Mercy Church and the Merced Civic Center.
Is this a horror escape room?
No. The theme is Oz, based on L. Frank Baum's original 1900 novel. You team up with a band of misfits to outsmart the witch by cracking puzzles, and the game includes original Oz-themed songs you can also listen to in the app at home.
How long does it take, and do we need to book a time slot?
Plan on around 90 minutes for the 2 km route. There is no fixed booking slot: you start whenever suits your group, and you can pause and continue later if you need a break along the way.
Can our whole group play together?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends, families or work groups can solve the puzzles as a team. You can also play solo and compete against the leaderboard.
Is it played outdoors, and what if it rains?
The whole game takes place outdoors on the streets of Merced, moving between stops on foot. Because you can pause and pick up where you left off, you can stop for a shower or come back another day to finish.
