It is self-guided. Your phone leads you through the graffiti laneways, including Hosier Lane, Meyers Place and the murals on Little Smith Street, telling the story of each wall and setting a puzzle in the art in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join.
Is it suitable for kids aged 10 and 12?
Yes, it is tagged kid friendly and recommended for families, and it suits older children who enjoy spotting details and solving clues. The walk covers 4.8 km over about 2.5 to 3 hours, so very young children may find it long.
Where does the street art walk start and finish?
It starts at Hosier Lane and finishes at the Ceramic seats, so it is not a loop. Along the way you pass 14 stops, including Coles Fountain, the painted public toilet, the Keith Haring mural and the AWOL mural.
