Forget every ghost story you've heard about this city. This Halloween, ten restless spirits are loose on its streets. 👻 No history book knows their names. No tour guide has heard of them. Most are just lost souls. One is lying to you. 💀
A hooded Oracle needs a ghost hunter. Every spirit is stuck on unfinished business: solve its mystery, catch it, and it gives up a clue. Follow the trail across town, crack ciphers and riddles (some only the street itself can answer), then name the Evil One and destroy it before it finds you. 🕷️

A hooded Oracle sends you after ten restless spirits loose on the city's streets this Halloween. Each one has unfinished business. Solve its mystery, catch it, and it gives you a clue. Follow the trail on your phone, then name the Evil One among them and destroy it.
Is this a guided ghost tour with a fixed start time?
No. It is self-guided and played on your phone, so there is no guide and no time slot to book. Start whenever suits you, pause along the way and continue later. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts at the Alan Turing Statue in Sackville Gardens. The route is about 2.2 km and takes around 90 minutes, passing The New Union, the Arch of Chinatown, Albert Square, The Portico Library and St. Peter's Square.
Is it a good Halloween activity for teenagers?
It suits teenagers who like puzzles. Instead of listening to stories, they crack ciphers and riddles, some of which only the street itself can answer, and work out which of ten ghosts is lying. It is better for older kids than for young children.
Is it like an escape game?
In spirit, yes, but outdoors. You solve ciphers and riddles tied to real places on the route, collect clues from each spirit you catch, and use them to unmask the Evil One at the end. Puzzle fans who want to play rather than listen tend to enjoy it.
