Preguntas frecuentes
Is there a treasure hunt in Madrid's Retiro Park?
Yes. This self-guided scavenger hunt runs through El Retiro on your phone, with a puzzle at each of ten stops, including the Galapagos Fountain, the Monument to Alfonso XII, the Artichoke Fountain and the Glass Palace. You solve the clues with logic and close observation of what is in front of you.
Where does the scavenger hunt start and finish?
It starts at Independence Gate and finishes at the Fallen Angel. On the way you pass the Galapagos Fountain, Great Pond, Monument to Alfonso XII, Statues, Campanillas pond, Parterre Garden, Artichoke Fountain and Glass Palace, in that order.
How long does it take, and do we need to book a time?
Most players take around 70 minutes, walking and puzzles included, over about 3.5 km. There is no time slot to book: start whenever you like, and pause and continue later if needed. Bring a fully charged phone or a power bank, since the whole game runs on it.
Can we play as a couple or a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so a couple or a few friends can work through the puzzles on the same game. There is no guide and no group to join, so you set your own pace.
Does it tell the history of the places we visit?
No. This is a puzzle-only game and does not include stories about the places on the route. It suits people who mainly want to solve clues. If you want history explained at each stop, a story-based quest will suit you better.
