He is a teenage market porter who has gone missing in 1920s London. Your job is to trace him along an old route through Spitalfields, Brick Lane, Columbia Road, London Fields and Hackney, solving puzzles in the real streets and learning facts about each place as you go.
Where does it start and finish, and how long does it take?
The walk starts at Spitalfields Market and finishes at St Augustine's Tower in Hackney, so it does not return to the start. It covers about 4.3 km, and most players take around two and a half hours including walking and puzzles.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route. There is no time slot to book and no group to join: start whenever suits you, and you can pause and continue later if you need a break along the way.
Can we play it at night?
The route is open 24 hours a day, but it is better played during daylight. The puzzles are set in what is in front of you outdoors, so good light makes spotting clues easier on the way from Spitalfields to Hackney.
