Preguntas frecuentes
Who is Elle Silver in this quest?
You play as Elle Silver. Her father, a cartographer at the British Museum, has disappeared, but he has left messages for her to unravel. You follow his trail of puzzles and clues across Richmond Hill, Petersham Meadows and Richmond Park.
Is this a guided walk of Richmond Park?
It is self-guided, with no live guide and no group to join. The app on your phone leads you from place to place, tells the story of each stop and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. You can start any time, pause and continue later.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts on Richmond Hill and finishes at Poet's Corner in Richmond Park, so it does not return to the start. On the way you pass Terrace Gardens, Buccleuch Gardens, Petersham Meadows, St Peter's Church, Pembroke Lodge, Cottage Orné and King Henry's Mound.
How long does it take and how hard are the puzzles?
Most players take about two hours, walking and puzzles included, over a route of 2.6 km. Some puzzles are challenging and the quest is rated intermediate. If this is your first quest, the other Richmond story, The Princess and the Publican, is an easier starting point.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends, couples or a family can share one phone and solve the clues side by side as you walk from Richmond Hill to Poet's Corner.
