In this game you can immerse yourself in the famous Battle of Cable St and you'll be pitched against Oswald Mosley and his Blackshirts.
Following an imagined path of one of the locals, gain a real insight into how the melting pot of the East End came together that day and by doing so helped win a decisive and pivotal victory over the fascists.

Where is Cable Street in London?
Cable Street is in London's East End, close to Shadwell and Wapping in the old Docklands. This walk starts at Shadwell Fire Station on Cable St and also stops at the Angel of Cable St before heading towards the river.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at Shadwell Fire Station on Cable St and finishes at the Prospect of Whitby, so it is not a loop. In between you pass St George in-the-East, Wilton's Music Hall, Tobacco Dock Ships, Wapping Woods and Shadwell Basin.
How long does it take and how far is it?
Most players take just over two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles, and the route covers about 3.1 km. You start whenever you like and can pause and carry on later if you need a break.
Is it suitable for children?
Older children with an interest in history can enjoy it, but kids under 12 should be guided by their parents through the puzzles and the story of the 1936 clash with the fascists. The two-hour length is worth considering for younger walkers.
Can we play as a group, and at any time of day?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together, and there is no set start time to book. It is recommended not to play at night, so plan your walk for daylight hours. No attraction tickets are needed along the route.
