Preguntas frecuentes
Where does the Kaprun alchemist quest start and finish?
It starts at the Fortress and finishes at Maiskogel, so it does not return to the start. In between you pass Jacob's chapel, the Oldtimer Museum, Ahornpark, City Hall, the Church, the Cemetery and the Kaprun Museum, about 2.2 km in total.
How long does the quest take?
Most players take around 95 minutes, so plan on 1.5 to 2 hours with walking and puzzles included. You can pause at any point and continue later, which makes it easy to fit around lifts, the lake or a meal.
Is it good for kids?
Yes, it is tagged family friendly and suits school-age children, who can help solve the puzzles at each stop and follow the alchemist's story of potions and gold. Younger children may need an adult to read clues and walk the 2.2 km.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, with everyone following the same route and solving the puzzles side by side. Make sure the phone you play on is fully charged or bring a power bank.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. There is no group to join and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever suits you, day by day, and pause the game if you want a break before carrying on to the next stop.
