Preguntas frecuentes
Is there an outdoor quest or escape game in Glen Cove?
Yes. This is a self-guided, escape-room-style game played on your phone outdoors. It covers about 2 km through central Glen Cove, with stops including City Hall, Village Square, the Glen Cove Public Library and the Police Department, and it finishes where it began.
Where does the game start and finish?
It starts at the Metropolitan Caterers on Pratt Blvd and loops back to the same spot, so you end where you met up. Along the way the app leads you from clue to clue and reveals each new location as you solve the puzzles.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Plan on around 90 minutes for the 2 km walk, including time to work through the puzzles. You can pause the game and continue later, so a snack break or a slower pace with kids fits in easily.
Can we play as a group on one ticket?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. Friends can team up against the witch's challenges together, or a single player can take them on solo and compete on the leaderboard.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. Unlike an indoor escape room, there is no fixed booking slot, so you can start whenever suits you and play at your own pace. The whole game takes place outdoors, so pick a dry spell or dress for the weather.
