Yes. This is a self-guided scavenger hunt played on your phone. The app leads you between seven stops in town, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you. It is free to play and you can start whenever you like.
Where does the route start and finish?
It starts at Pioneer Plaza and runs as a short loop of about 1.4 km through Historic Markers 1 & 2, Danny's Cream Pies, the oldest building in Englewood, Veteran's Memorial Park and Culture Park, with the Postcard Mural as the final stop.
How long does it take?
Most players take about an hour and a quarter, including the walking and the puzzles. The distance is only around 1.4 km, so the pace is relaxed, and you can pause the game and continue later if you want a break along the way.
Is it good for kids?
Yes, it is tagged family friendly. The short distance and puzzles built around things you can see suit school-age children who enjoy spotting details and solving clues, with a grown-up helping along. It also works well as a relaxed outing for couples.
