This 2 km loop starts and ends at the Thames St entrance to Broadway Square, passing Blue Moon Cafe, the Luann Carra Gallery and El Suprimo Records over around 90 minutes of puzzles. It suits friends who enjoy escape rooms but prefer the open street, and anyone who grew up on Baum's Oz. If you want an indoor, hosted room with a set start time, pick something else.

Is The Oz Escape a one-off event with a set date and time?
No. It is a self-guided game played on your phone, so there is no event date and no booking slot. You start whenever suits your group, play at your own pace, and can pause and pick it up again later if you need a break.
What is the Oz experience actually like?
It plays like an outdoor escape room. A new story inspired by L. Frank Baum's 1900 Oz novel leads you between locations, and at each one you solve puzzles to outsmart the witch. Original Oz-themed songs made for the game play in the app and stay available afterwards.

You begin at the entrance to Broadway Square on Thames Street and finish back at the same spot. The loop covers about 2 km through the surrounding streets, passing places such as Blue Moon Cafe and Luann Carra Gallery, and takes around 90 minutes.
