Para quién es
Groups of friends, couples and families with teens after an escape room can play this one outdoors across Auburn's campus and downtown, cracking Oz-themed puzzles over about 2 km in roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. Fans of Baum's 1900 novel and solo puzzlers chasing the leaderboard will enjoy it too. If you want a locked indoor room with a host on hand, a traditional escape room suits you better.

Preguntas frecuentes
Is there an escape room in Auburn, AL that you play outdoors?
Yes. This is an escape-room-style game played on your phone as you walk through Auburn. You follow clues from place to place and solve puzzles set in what is in front of you, working together with friends or playing solo against the leaderboard. It covers about 2 km.
What is the Oz game in Auburn about?
It is a new story inspired by L. Frank Baum's original Oz novel from 1900. You join a team of misfits and try to outsmart the witch by cracking her puzzles. Original Oz-themed songs written for the game play in the app and stay available after you get home.
Where does it start and finish, and how long does it take?
It starts at Toomer's Oaks and loops through campus and town, past Ross Square, Tichenor Hall, Auburn City Hall and First Presbyterian Church, finishing at Samford Park back near the start. Most players take around 1.5 to 2 hours, walking and puzzles included.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together. There is no booking slot: you start whenever you like, with no group to join and no guide to meet. You can also pause the game and pick it up again later.
Is it fully outdoors?
Yes. The whole game is played outside on Auburn's streets and campus, walking about 2 km between stops. Since you can start any time and pause along the way, it is easy to pick a dry day or take a break if the weather turns.
