Preguntas frecuentes
Is this a romantic walking tour of Amsterdam?
Yes. It is a self-guided walk of about 2.2 km, played on your phone, aimed at couples. The route follows canals and courtyards, passes love bridges such as the Skinny Bridge and Blauwbrug, and stops at the Tuschinski theatre, with a puzzle and a story at each place.
What love story does the walk tell?
You follow Anna, a young servant girl whose daydreams collide with destiny. Along the way you hear about the passion and heartbreak that shaped Amsterdam's past. Your choices and curiosity shape how her story ends, so it can turn out a fairytale or a tragedy.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at De Waag and returns there at the end, so you finish where you began. In between you pass stops including the oldest elm tree, Staalmeestersbrug, City Hall, the Rembrandt House Museum, Leprozenpoort, a tulip artwork and the Bredero Monument.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Plan for around 75 to 80 minutes to cover the 2.2 km route, depending on your pace and how long the puzzles take. You can pause at any point, stop for a coffee, and continue later from where you left off. It is best played during the day.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no set time slot and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever suits you. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, which makes it easy for a couple or a few friends to play together.
