Ein paar Antworten vor dem Start
Häufig gestellte Fragen
Is this an escape room in Odessa, TX?
It is an outdoor escape-room-style game played on your phone in downtown Odessa. Instead of a locked room, clues lead you between 11 stops, including Ector County Library, The Ector Theatre and Ector County Courthouse. At each stop you crack puzzles to outsmart the witch in a story inspired by the original 1900 Oz novel.
Where does the escape game start in Odessa?
The game starts at Odessa Texas City Hall. From there the app guides you on foot through downtown, past places such as Municipal Plaza, Rooster's Diner and the Ector County Courthouse. The full route covers about 2.3 km.
How long does it take to finish?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk the 2.3 km route and solve the puzzles, though your pace depends on how quickly your team cracks the clues. You can pause at any point and continue later, so there is no pressure to finish in one go.
Do we need to book a time slot, and can we play as a group?
No booking slot is needed. You start whenever you like, unlike a fixed-time indoor escape room. One ticket covers your whole group, so friends, families or work teams can solve the puzzles together, or you can play solo and compete on the leaderboard.
Is it played outdoors, and what if the weather turns?
Yes, the whole game is played outdoors on the streets of downtown Odessa, walking between stops. If the weather turns, you can pause the game and pick it up again later from where you left off, so it is worth choosing a dry stretch of the day.
