Not quite. There are no actors and no meal. You play the detective yourselves on your phones, walking about 2.2 km through Walkerville, gathering clues and questioning suspects such as the boyfriend Walter and the ghost tour guide Percy to find out who killed Bella.
How is it different from an escape room?
It takes place outdoors rather than in a locked room. The app leads you from place to place and sets puzzles in what is in front of you, from a church to a popcorn factory. You start whenever you like, with no time slot to book.
