At each stop the app tells the story and sets a clue.
Can I play the quest on Presidents Day?
Yes, you can start any time you like. There is no fixed slot to book, no group to join and no guide to wait for. The game is played outdoors on your phone as you walk between the stops, so you set your own schedule.
Where does the quest start and finish, and how long does it take?
It starts at the Ulysses S. Grant Memorial and finishes at The White House, so it does not return to the start. The route is about 3.9 km, and most players take around two hours including walking and puzzles.
Where is the National Gallery of Art on the route?
The National Gallery of Art is the second stop, right after the opening stop at the Ulysses S. Grant Memorial. From there the route continues to the National Archives Museum and on through the Federal Triangle area.
Can we play as a group, and can we take a break?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route. You can also pause the quest at any point, stop for food or a museum visit, and continue later from where you left off.
