Algumas respostas antes de partir
Perguntas frequentes
Is there an escape room in Vineland, NJ that you can play outdoors?
Yes. This is an escape-room-style game played outdoors on your phone. You follow clues from place to place in Vineland and solve puzzles set in what is in front of you, while a story inspired by L. Frank Baum's original 1900 Oz novel unfolds. It also includes original Oz-themed songs.
Where does the game start and finish?
It starts at the Vineland City Municipal Court, and the finish point is also at Vineland City Municipal, so you end close to where you began. Along the way the route passes spots such as E Elmer St. at S 8th St., La Bonita Ice Cream and Cornerstone Christian Bookstore.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes, covering about 2 km on foot. The time depends on how quickly your group cracks the puzzles. You can pause at any point and continue later, so a break for ice cream or a rest does not cost you your progress.
Can we play as a group, or on our own?
Both work. One ticket covers your whole group, so friends, families or work teams can solve the puzzles together on their phones. If you prefer to play solo, you can take on the witch's challenges alone and compare your result against the leaderboard.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. Unlike an indoor escape room with fixed sessions, there is no booking slot and no guide to meet. You go to the starting point at the Vineland City Municipal Court whenever suits you and start the game in the app. As it is played outdoors, dress for the weather.
