Sobre esta experiência
Forget every ghost story you've heard about this city. This Halloween, ten restless spirits are loose on its streets. 👻 No history book knows their names. No tour guide has heard of them. Most are just lost souls. One is lying to you. 💀
A hooded Oracle needs a ghost hunter. Every spirit is stuck on unfinished business: solve its mystery, catch it, and it gives up a clue. Follow the trail across town, crack ciphers and riddles (some only the street itself can answer), then name the Evil One and destroy it before it finds you. 🕷️
É para si?
Para quem é
Starting at the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse, this 2.4 km trail passes the Battle-Friedman House & Gardens, the Paul R. Jones Museum and Christ Episcopal Church, with ten spirits to catch in about 90 minutes. Friends, couples, families with older kids and puzzle fans will enjoy cracking ciphers to unmask the lying ghost. If you want a live guide telling stories, or have young children who scare easily, choose something else.

Perguntas frequentes
Is there a ghost tour in Tuscaloosa I can do without a guide?
Yes. This ghost hunt is a self-guided walk played on your phone. A hooded Oracle sends you after ten restless spirits across town. Solve each spirit's mystery to catch it and earn a clue, then name the Evil One. It covers about 2.4 km in around 90 minutes.
Is this a real paranormal investigation?
No. It is a story game, not a ghost-hunting session with equipment. The ten spirits are characters you will not find in history books or on other tours. You investigate by cracking ciphers and riddles, and some can only be answered by details on the street in front of you.
When does it open, and do we need to book a time?
There is no opening time or fixed departure. Start whenever suits you by opening the app at the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse, where the trail begins. There is no guide to meet, and you can pause partway through and continue later.
Can we play as a group in Tuscaloosa?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, so friends or a family can play together and solve the riddles as a team. There is no group booking to arrange and no tour slot to fit around, which makes it easy to plan for a Halloween outing.
Is it suitable for kids?
It is tagged Horror & Haunts and suits older kids who enjoy spooky stories and can work through ciphers and riddles. Younger children may find the hunt for the Evil One scary and the puzzles hard. The 2.4 km walk takes around 90 minutes, so plan for that much time on foot.
