Starting and finishing at Puerta de Jerez, this 1.5 km loop through Tarifa's walled old town passes Iglesia San Mateo, the Mirador and Castillo Guzmán el Bueno, pairing puzzles with an alchemist's inner journey. What will we see in Tarifa on this route?
The stops include Boquete de la Cilla, Puerta del Retiro, Iglesia San Mateo, the Casa de la Cultura, a mirador, the Ayuntamiento (town hall), Castillo Guzmán el Bueno, Plaza del Ángel and the Mercado cubierto, finishing back at Puerta de Jerez.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts at Puerta de Jerez and loops back there at the end. The walk covers about 1.5 km and takes about an hour. You can start whenever you like, with no time slot to book.
