Step into Sinaia in 1913 and discover the world of the Romanian Royal Family.

Your journey begins with a mysterious traveller’s notebook and an invitation to a reception at Peleș Castle. Follow its pages through Sinaia, solve challenges and uncover the stories hidden across the Royal Domain until you finally reach the doors of Peleș yourself.

Note: Most of the route is uphill, with some stops ~15 minutes apart. Wear comfortable shoes, enjoy the scenery, check Google Maps for walking directions.

From the Royal Train Station, this 3.8 km walk climbs past Sinaia Monastery, the Casino and Pelișor Castle, following a traveller's notebook to the doors of Peleș Castle. Day-trippers off the train from Bucharest or Brașov, and couples who like easy puzzles, get a royal story instead of plain directions. Most of the route is uphill with some stops 15 minutes apart, so pick another walk if hills are a struggle.
