Day-trippers arriving by bus, visitors staying nearby for Krka, couples and families get Šibenik's medieval old town in one compact walk of 1.8 km and around 90 minutes, from the Duke palace and the double rampart to the Cathedral of St. Jacob and the story of its 71 carved faces of ordinary people. Anyone who cannot manage varied terrain and changes in elevation, or who wants a live guide to question, should choose something else.

In order, you pass the statue of King Petar Krešimir IV, the County building, the Duke palace, the Church of St. Dominik, the entrance to the double rampart, the Gothic portal of Juraj Dalmatinac, Foscolo palace, the Cathedral of St. Jacob, the Church of St. Barbara, Šibenik's measure of length, a WW2 plaque and the Water clock.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at the main bus station in Šibenik, which makes it easy for day-trippers arriving by bus, and finishes at the Water clock. The route is a loop of about 1.8 km through the medieval old town.
How long does it take?
Most players take around 90 minutes, including walking between stops and solving the puzzles. You can pause the game and continue later if you want a coffee break or extra time inside the cathedral area.
