Repeat visitors who have already done the Old Town, and history-minded travellers, get about two hours on foot through the Central Market, the Spīķeri warehouses and the streets of Maskačka, with stops at the Great Choral Synagogue memorial and the former Riga Ghetto. Visual puzzles keep you looking closely at churches, courtyards and street corners. The route covers 4.5 km and dwells on the ghetto's history, so anyone after a light postcard stroll should pick something else.

Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at Riga Central Market and finishes at the Hourglass, so it is not a loop. Along the way you pass the Night Market, the Spīķeri warehouses, Lastādija, the Church of Jesus, the ghetto sites, the heart of Maskačka and St. Francis' Catholic Church.
How long does it take and how far is it?
Most players take about two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route is around 4.5 km. You can pause at any point and continue later, so you can stop for food at the market or a break along the way.
Is this a self-guided walking tour of Riga?
Yes. You play it on your phone with no guide and no group to join. The app leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you. Start whenever you like.
Does it go through the Moscow District and the former Riga Ghetto?
Yes. After the market and Spīķeri you cross the railway into Maskačka, the Moscow District. Stops include the memorial at the site of the Great Choral Synagogue, the ghetto border and the heart of the Riga Ghetto, alongside neighbourhood legends and former cemeteries.
Do we need to buy tickets or book a time?
