Perguntas frequentes
Is this a guided ghost tour of Rapid City?
No. The story is about a death during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows, but there is no live guide. The app leads you from place to place, tells the story and sets puzzles along a route of about 1.9 km, which takes around 90 minutes.
How is this different from a murder mystery dinner theatre?
There are no actors, no meal and no fixed show time. You walk outdoors, solve puzzles based on what is in front of you and interrogate suspects through the app. Then you decide whether Walter, Percy or someone else did it. You can start whenever you like.
Is it like an escape room in Rapid City?
It has the same kind of puzzle solving and teamwork, but it takes place outdoors on the streets instead of in a locked room. You do not book a time slot. You simply start on your phones when your group is ready and work through the clues at your own pace.
Can our group play together, and can we take a break?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, and everyone plays on their own phones up to the number of devices stated. You can pause the game at any point, for a coffee or a rest, and continue later from where you stopped.
Is it suitable for children?
It suits older kids and teens who enjoy detective puzzles and can walk about 1.9 km over roughly 90 minutes. The story centres on a death and a list of suspects, so younger children may find it less suitable and may lose interest in the investigation.
