Fans of wizard and fantasy stories, and families with older children, get a 1.7 km walk of about an hour from São Bento past Livraria Lello, Torre dos Clérigos, the Escadas da Vitória and Rua das Flores, with real history and local legends retold as a magical mystery. If fantasy fiction leaves you cold and you want plain architecture history, or you need something indoors on a hot afternoon, pick another quest.
