Groups of friends after an escape room night out, couples, and families with kids or teens can solve Oz-themed puzzles together on the streets of downtown Omaha. In around 90 minutes you loop from the Gene Leahy Mall through the Old Market to KANEKO and back, and solo puzzle fans can chase the leaderboard. Anyone wanting a live host, an indoor room or a gentle story for toddlers should pick something else.

Is this an escape room you play outside?
Yes. It works like an escape room, but outdoors in downtown Omaha. Your phone leads you from place to place, and each puzzle uses what is in front of you. Clues reveal the next location, so you keep moving between stops instead of sitting in one room.
What is the Oz story in this game?
It is a new narrative inspired by L. Frank Baum's original Oz novel from 1900. You join a team of misfits and try to outsmart the witch by cracking her puzzles. Original Oz-themed songs written for the game play in the app, and you can listen to them again at home.
Where does it start and finish?
It starts and ends at The Arch at Gene Leahy Mall at The RiverFront, so you finish where you began. Along the way you pass places such as Harney Street Tavern, the Old Market Emporium, KANEKO, the Wind Sculpture and the Gene Leahy Mall Performance Pavilion.
How long does it take, and do we need to book a time slot?
Plan on around 90 minutes. There is no booking slot, so you can start whenever suits your group. If you need a break for food or a drink along the route, you can pause the game and continue later from where you stopped.
Can we play as a group, or can I play alone?
Both work. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends, families and work groups can solve the puzzles together. If you prefer to play solo, you can take on the witch's challenges alone and compare your result on the leaderboard.
