Solo players can race the leaderboard instead. If you would rather book an indoor escape room with a host on hand, or cannot comfortably walk 2 km, choose something else.

Yes. It is an escape-room-style game played outdoors on your phone. Clues lead you between places in and around Omaha's Old Market, such as the Old Market Emporium and the Gene Leahy Mall at The RiverFront. At each stop you solve puzzles that move the story on as you try to outsmart the witch.
Is there an Oz-themed game to play in Omaha in 2025?
This 2025 edition is a new story inspired by L. Frank Baum's original Oz novel from 1900. You join a band of misfits against the witch. The app also includes original Oz-themed songs written for the game, which you can listen to on demand once you get home.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The game starts at 1 The Arch and finishes back at The Arch, so you end where you began. Plan on around 90 minutes to walk the roughly 2 km route and solve the puzzles. You can pause at any point and continue later.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no time slot to book, so you can start whenever suits you. One ticket covers your whole group, and friends can work through the puzzles together. If you prefer to play alone, you can tackle the challenges solo and compete against the leaderboard.
Is the game played indoors or outdoors?
It is played outdoors on the streets around the Old Market, passing places such as Hollywood Candy and Upstream Brewing Company. Dress for the weather. Because you can pause and pick up again later, a heavy shower does not have to end your game.
