Algumas respostas antes de partir
Perguntas frequentes
Is this an escape room in Olathe?
It is an outdoor, escape-room-style game played on your phone. Instead of a locked room, you follow clues between 11 stops in central Olathe and crack puzzles to outsmart the witch, in a new story inspired by L. Frank Baum's original 1900 Oz novel. Play as a team or on your own.
Is the Oz Escape a scheduled event, or can we play any time?
There is no fixed event time and no booking slot. You start whenever it suits you, walk at your own pace, and can pause the game and continue later. That makes it easy to fit around a birthday, a date night or a weekend afternoon in Olathe.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The game starts at the Johnson County Administration Building. The route covers about 2 km on foot and takes around 90 minutes, passing places such as the Johnson County Courthouse, Johnson County Square Park, the Chestnut Fine Arts Center and City of Olathe City Hall.
Can our whole group play together?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends, families or work groups can solve the puzzles together. If you prefer to play alone, you can take on the witch's challenges solo and compete on the leaderboard.
Is the game played outdoors?
Yes, the whole game takes place outside as you walk between stops around central Olathe, so dress for the weather. If rain sets in partway through, you can pause and pick up where you left off on another day.
