The route links 12 locations, passing places such as the Arizona Museum of Natural History, the Idea Museum, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Heritage Academy and the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum. At each stop you solve a puzzle or complete a dare to collect the Elements of Spirit.
Where does the Christmas scavenger hunt start?
It starts at the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum. From there the app leads you on foot from location to location, telling the story as you go and setting puzzles in what is in front of you, so you never need to plan the route yourself.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk about 2.6 km and play through all 12 locations. You can pause at any point and continue later, which helps if younger players need a snack break or you want to stop at one of the museums.
Can our whole group or office team play together?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated when you buy, so a family, a group of friends or a team of coworkers can play side by side on their phones without paying per person.
Do we need to book a time slot or meet a guide?
No. There is no guide and no fixed group to join. You start whenever suits you, play at your own pace on your phone, and the characters Santa, Sparky and Rudolph guide you through the story instead.
