Sobre esta experiência
🍀 The Case of the Lost Luck: An Outdoor Detective Mystery Game 🍀
Fortune has faltered with the mysterious disappearance of the Golden Shamrock. As luck spirals into chaos—clocks stop, signs fall, and the bakery's ovens cool—you are summoned to unravel this enigma.
Was it the reticent leprechaun, Rusty, with his mischievous past? Finn McGuire, the desperate pub owner last seen with the shamrock? Or perhaps the mayor himself, whose ambitions might be fueled by the town's misfortune?
É para si?
Para quem é
This 2.4 km loop starts and ends at University Square in Carlton, passing Melbourne Connect, Piazza Italia and the Kathleen Syme Library as you question a leprechaun, a pub owner and the mayor over a missing golden shamrock. Friends, couples and mixed-age families who like a light-hearted whodunit get around 90 minutes outdoors. Anyone after Flinders Street Station or a live guide to quiz should pick another walk.

Perguntas frequentes
Where does the shamrock treasure hunt in Melbourne start and finish?
It starts at University Square in Carlton and loops back to finish in the same place. Along the way the route passes spots such as Melbourne Connect, Piazza Italia, the Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre and the Prince Alfred Rooftop & Bar.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan for around 90 minutes at a relaxed pace, covering about 2.4 km on foot. You can pause the game whenever you like, stop for a coffee or a meal on the way, and pick up the mystery again later from where you left off.
Is it suitable for kids?
The quest has no age tags, so judge by the story: a light detective mystery about a missing lucky shamrock and three suspects. It suits children who enjoy following clues and can comfortably walk 2.4 km, ideally with an adult helping on the trickier puzzles.
Can our group play on one ticket, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated on the booking. There is no set time slot and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever suits you and play at your own pace on your phones.
Is it all outdoors, and what if it rains?
The game is an outdoor walk around the streets near University Square, so bring an umbrella or a jacket if the weather looks doubtful. Since you can pause and continue later, you can wait out a heavy shower and carry on afterwards.
