A história começa aqui.
You know the old saying, “The boyfriend did it”? On an ill-fated night, love goes terribly wrong for Bella Wanderlust and Walter Bridges.
Bella, a famous travel blogger, was found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth.
Was it Walter, the obsessed boyfriend? Percy, the ghost tour guide with a flair for the dramatic? Or is someone else hiding in the shadows?
🔎 Gather clues, interrogate suspects, and expose the real murderer before they strike again. Make sure to have your pen and paper ready to jot down all the crucial evidence.
É para si?
Para quem é
This McAllen route runs about 2.2 km on foot over around 90 minutes, as you work out who killed travel blogger Bella Wanderlust on a ghost tour: boyfriend Walter, guide Percy, or someone else. It suits couples wanting an evening out with a puzzle, or friends who prefer questioning suspects outdoors to a staged dinner. Anyone after a seated, indoor mystery with live actors should choose otherwise.

Perguntas frequentes
Is there a murder mystery game I can play in McAllen?
Yes. This is a self-guided murder mystery played outdoors on your own phones as you walk through McAllen. The app leads you from place to place and sets puzzles in what is around you, so you do the detective work yourselves rather than watching a staged show or sitting in an escape room.
What is the Murder in the Shadows story about?
Bella Wanderlust, a famous travel blogger, is found dead during a ghost tour. You gather clues and interrogate suspects to uncover the truth. Was it Walter Bridges, her obsessed boyfriend, Percy Shadows, the theatrical ghost tour guide, or someone else hiding in the shadows?
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes to solve the case, covering about 2.2 km on foot. You can go at your own pace, and if you need a break you can pause the game and continue later from where you stopped.
Is it suitable for kids?
It suits older kids and teens who like solving puzzles and following clues alongside adults. The story revolves around a death and questioning suspects, so it is better for older children than for young ones.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
No set time is needed. Start whenever you like, with no guide and no other groups. One ticket covers your whole group, and everyone can follow along on their own phones. The game is played outdoors, so dress for the weather on the day.
