How long does this outdoor escape room take?
Plan on around 90 minutes. That covers the 2.5 km walk, the story at each location and the puzzles you solve along the way. You can pause at any point and pick up where you left off later, so a coffee or snack break won't break the game.
How long does the 2.5 km route take to walk?
The route is 2.5 km in total and the full game takes about 90 minutes, because you stop at each location to hear its part of the Oz story and crack a puzzle. Your pace depends on how quickly your group solves the clues.
Can a group of three play together?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the game, so three friends can team up against the witch together. If you prefer, you can also tackle her challenges alone and compare your result on the leaderboard.
Where does it start and finish?
It starts near the entrance to Bixby Park Community Center on 1st St and loops back to the same spot. On the way you pass places such as East Broadway Art Studio, Villa Fontana, the skatepark side of Bixby Park and Alamitos Neighborhood Library.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. Unlike a fixed-time indoor escape room, there is no booking slot. You start whenever suits your group, play on your phone as the app leads you from place to place, and you can pause and continue later if you need to.

Join this Oz-inspired adventure and follow a trail of riddles from Rainbow Harbor through the Pike and colorful backstreets. You’ll catch ocean views, street art, and quirky history while chasing a magical storyline.

Absolutely. Start late afternoon, stroll hand-in-hand along Shoreline, solve puzzles as the sun sets, and finish with dinner or cocktails on Pine Avenue. It’s part fantasy, part sunset walk.

Yes. The Oz theme is bright and friendly. Children can help find clues, listen to the custom music, and spot fun murals. The distance (around 2 km) is easy for little legs with snack breaks.
