Step into the shoes of a paranormal investigator on this thrilling, self-guided ghost hunt. Walk haunted alleyways, decode cryptic puzzles while exploring Greenwich's most fabulous sites.

Start any day or time you want. Go at your own pace or play to beat the clock to game extra bonus points in a timed challenge! Walk on flat terrain. There maybe be some cobblestones en route but for only a minor section of the tour. No sea or river crossings involved. Option to visit local pubs/taverns.

Yes. You play a paranormal investigator on your phone, walking haunted alleyways and solving puzzles at places such as the Cutty Sark, St Alfege Church and the Old Royal Naval College. There is no guide and no group to join, and it is free to play.
Where does the ghost walk start and finish?
It starts at the Greenwich Foot Tunnel and finishes at the Trafalgar Tavern, so it does not return to the start. On the way you pass the Cutty Sark, St Alfege Church, the Spanish Galleon Pub and the Queen Mary Undercroft. The route covers about 1.4 km.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take just over an hour, walking and puzzles included. You can go at your own pace, or play against the clock in a timed challenge for bonus points. You can also pause and continue later, so a stop at one of the pubs on the route is easy.
Is it suitable for children?
The puzzles are medium difficulty and the theme is ghosts and haunts, so it suits older children and teens, roughly 10 and up, who enjoy spooky stories. The terrain is flat with only a short cobbled section, and pub visits along the way are optional.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. You can start any day and at any time you like, and it is free to play, so groups can simply turn up at the Greenwich Foot Tunnel and begin. Make sure your phone is fully charged or bring a power bank.
