Ghost story fans, friends and families with older children get a daylight haunted walk through Mayfair and the West End, from Green Park to the Berkeley Square haunted house and the Coach & Horses, solving puzzles to free trapped souls. It takes about an hour over 2.8 km. If you want an after-dark tour with a live storyteller, or your children are young and easily frightened, look elsewhere.

Is this a London ghost walk I can do without a guide?
Yes. It is self-guided on your phone. The app leads you between stops in Mayfair, Green Park and the West End, tells the ghost story of each place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. Start any time, with no group to join, and one ticket covers your whole group.
Where does the ghost walk start and finish?
It starts and finishes at The Cathedral of the Holy Family in Exile, so the route is a loop. Along the way you pass Marlborough Road, the Canada Memorial, Green Park, the Berkeley Square haunted house, Brook Street and the Lancashire Court tile mural.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Plan on about an hour to cover 2.8 km on foot, plus whatever time you spend lingering over the stories and puzzles. You can pause the game and continue later if you want a break or a coffee along the way.
Can we do it at night?
No, it is designed to be played in daylight, and the guidance is not to play at night. You also do not need to go inside any of the buildings on the route; the stories and puzzles all work from the street outside.
