Yes. This is a self-guided walk played on your phone. The app leads you about 2.5 km through the tree-lined streets, tells the founding story of the world's first Garden City at each stop and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you.
Is this a good thing to do on a day trip to Letchworth?
It suits a day trip well. The walk starts and ends at Letchworth station, on the train route halfway between London and Cambridge, and takes around 90 minutes. It is best done during the day, when the streets, gardens and sculptures are easy to see.
Is this a guided tour with a guide?
No live guide comes along. The app does the guiding, so you can start whenever you like without booking a time slot or joining a group. If you want someone to answer questions in person, a traditional guided walk would suit you better.
Can we play as a group and take a break partway through?
