It has the same appeal of solving puzzles as a team, but it takes place outdoors on the streets of downtown Cabo San Lucas instead of a locked room. You play on your own phones, start whenever you like, and the app guides you from stop to stop with no staff host.
Where does the murder mystery start and how long does it take?
It starts at the Letras de Los Cabos Muelle sign and loops back there at the end. The walk is about 2.1 km with stops including the Cultural Pavilion of the Republic, the Swordfish Landmark and The Place at Cabo, and most groups take around 90 minutes.
Is it suitable for kids?
The story is a murder case: a travel blogger is found dead and you question the suspects, including her boyfriend and a dramatic ghost tour guide. It suits older kids and teens who enjoy a whodunit and can follow clues. Younger children may find the plot and puzzles hard to follow.
