Escape room fans, friends and couples who like 1920s detective noir get a puzzle-heavy case through central Bucharest, from the Cantacuzino Statue past Parcul Colțea and the interwar villas of Strada Italiană. Over about an hour and 1.7 km, clues hide in stone reliefs, iron gates and facades. If you would rather hear history from a live guide than decode it from walls yourself, choose another tour.

Where does the detective game start and finish?
It starts at the Cantacuzino Statue and finishes at Casa Gheorghe Hotăranu, so it does not end where it began. In between, the 1.7 km route passes Parcul Colțea, the National Theatre's Sala Atelier, two houses on Strada Italiană, Biserica Oțetari and the Vasile Lascăr Statue.
How long does it take?
Most players take about an hour, including the walking and solving the puzzles along the way. You can pause the game at any point and continue later, so there is no need to rush a clue or skip a coffee stop.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the same case, which suits friends or couples who want to work through the puzzles side by side and argue over the answers.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. There is no guide and no group to join, so you start whenever you like. The route is open around the clock, but it works better in daylight, when the reliefs, gates and facades that hold the clues are easier to read.
