Perguntas frequentes

Is this a ghost tour of Birmingham?
Yes, but it's self-guided on your phone, so there is no live guide. The app leads you between stops such as The Alexandra Theatre, The Mailbox and Hill Street. At each one it tells a haunted or historical story and sets a puzzle, from the Priestley Riots to hidden Victorian cemeteries.
Which haunted pubs are on the route?
The route passes through The Trocadero, Bacchus Bar and The Victoria Pub, mixed in with stops like the old goods yard and the Holiday Street aqueduct. The stories and puzzles weave the pubs into the city's darker history, so you can stop for a drink along the way.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts and finishes at B1 2HG, so you end up back where you began. The walk covers about 1.7 km. Allow around two and a half hours, which leaves time for the stories, the puzzles and a drink at the pubs on the way.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. There is no set start time, so you can begin whenever suits your night out. You can also pause the game and carry on later if you linger in one of the pubs.
Are the puzzles difficult?
No. The quest is rated easy, and the puzzles are built around what you can see at each stop. It is designed as a squad challenge, so friends can work through clues together without needing any local knowledge, though locals who know the area will spot extra details.
