Fans of Regency drama, couples on a date and groups of friends, hen parties included, play debutantes in 1805, solving puzzles on a 3.2 km loop past Sydney Gardens, the Guildhall and the Royal Crescent in a little over an hour. Pick something else if you want a live guide, prefer to stay indoors or can only start late in the day, since the last part may not be available after 4pm.

Where does the Regency walk in Bath start and finish?
It starts and ends at the Royal Victoria Park Bandstand, so you finish where you began. Along the way you pass Laura Place Fountain, Sydney Gardens, the Holburne Museum, the Guildhall, Bath Street, Alfred Street and No. 1 Royal Crescent before returning to the park.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Plan on a little over an hour, around 70 minutes of play, covering about 3.2 km on foot. You can stop for tea or a look around along the way, as the game lets you pause and pick up again later.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No booking of a time is needed, and you can start whenever suits you. Keep in mind that the last part of the game might not be available after 4pm, so begin early enough in the day to reach the finale.
Can a group play together on one ticket?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends, couples or a hen party can play side by side through the streets of Bath without joining strangers or following a guide.
Is it outdoors, and what if it rains?
The route is an outdoor walk through Bath's streets, squares and gardens, so dress for the weather. If a shower arrives, you can pause the game, shelter for a while and continue later from where you stopped.
