Gaudi also designed two decorative medallions featuring lizards, small touches that would later become symbolic of his artistic signature. The cascade is inspired by Rome's famous Trevi Fountain, featuring sculptures of Venus, Aurora, Eros, nymphs, and gryphons that create a mythological tableau.
